On October 19th at The Purple Turtles, Indiranagar, we hosted Small is Big; Less is More, an enriching event by Curious Crow, Oorjaa’s platform for meaningful conversations around design and sustainability. 

The evening featured three trailblazing founders—Ravi Kallayil, CEO and Founder of Plaeto, Praveen Crasta, CEO and Founder of Unified Intelligence, and Pranav Dandekar, CEO and Founder of Wings—in conversation with Jenny Pinto, Creative Director of Oorjaa. Together, they explored innovative solutions to the environmental challenges within construction, personal wear, and transport industries.

 

Ravi Kallayil delved into what truly goes into making a shoe, shedding light on how shifting to better, more sustainable materials can have a lasting impact. Praveen Crasta demonstrated how to build self-sufficient buildings, integrating intelligent systems and sustainable materials to reduce the carbon footprint of modern construction. Pranav Dandekar addressed urban congestion as the core issue in cities, explaining what makes Wings' electric vehicles stand out from other EV options, offering practical solutions for cleaner and smarter mobility.

The event underscored how small, deliberate changes in product design, material selection, and infrastructure can generate meaningful progress.
